Healing Takes Time

This retreat is an uplifting experience to help those who are suffering from the loss of a loved one find hope and healing in their grief journey. Small Group breakout sessions will be held and led by those who have experienced the same/similar type of loss.
Breakout sessions types include:
• Loss of Child
• Loss of Spouse
• Loss through Suicide
• Loss through Pregnancy and Infant Loss
• Loss of Sibling/Parent
• Loss through Homicide
Keynote Speaker – Dr. Melissa Mork
“ Tasks, Coping, and Resilience with Grief ”
Melissa was orphaned in college when her mother was killed in a carcrash. Melissa lost friends to brain aneurysm, heart attack, Covid, and suicide. She suffered multiple miscarriages throughout her marriage, and then her husband died of an aggressive lung cancer, leaving her to parent their two children alone. Consequently, Melissa is intimately acquainted with grief.
