Franciscan Retreats welcomes Terry Shaughnessy....

Terry Shaughnessy, a certified spiritual director from St. Paul, will be available once a month for spiritual direction at Franciscan Retreats. Terry holds a Masters degree in Christian Spirituality and Certificates in Spiritual Direction and Retreats from Creighton University, Omaha, Nebraska (1997).      A native of Ohio, who came to St. Paul via the College 
     of St. Thomas (now the University of St. Thomas) in 
     1976, Terry is the former Executive Director of Loyola
     Spirituality Center in St. Paul where he was on the staff
     from 2004-2008. Terry’s interests include Male Spirituality,
     Centering Prayer and Ignatian Spirituality. He works with men 
     and women in a variety of backgrounds and faith walks,
     including clergy, religious, people in ministry, business 
     executives and individuals exploring life changes. Terry also
gives workshops and retreats, as well as facilitating men’s groups. For 25 years, Terry was a
self employed real estate investor. Terry and his wife, Noreen, are the parents of three adult
children: Eileen, Brendan and Bridey.
